Me

Hey there! I’m Cuthbert Martin Lwinga (pronounced Luwinga) — a one-man operation building Glialis, your ML-powered fitness sidekick. Born and raised in Tanzania, I speak Swahili first and code second (mostly in SwiftUI, Java, PHP, and Python).

When I’m not knee-deep in algorithms or wrangling nutrition databases, you’ll catch me deadlifting (316 lbs PR), hiking around Vancouver, or getting lost in Civilization VI. I’m all about making fitness simple, smart, and a little bit fun — because no one really loves logging macros, right?

About Glialis

Glialis is my passion project: a freemium? app that adapts to your real life, with dynamic step targets, macro tweaks, and personalized reminders. It’s me, my code, and a dream to help you crush your goals — without the corporate fluff.

Want to chat features, share feedback, or trade dad jokes? Drop me a line via the contact page below. Let’s make fitness less of a chore and more of an adventure!

Authencity

It’s just me behind the scenes—writing every line of code, obsessing over the little details, and constantly tweaking Glialis based on real-world feedback. No big marketing teams, no empty promises—just one guy who’s as invested in your progress as you are.

Real Engagement

I read every message. Seriously. When you hit ‘Send’ on the feedback form, it pings me directly—so whether you’ve spotted a bug, have a killer feature idea, or just want to share your latest PR, you’ll get a personal reply from yours truly.

Unique Stories

Everyone’s fitness journey is different—that’s why Glialis adapts to your routine, not the other way around. Share your wins (and face-plants), log your own milestones, and see your progress visualized in a way that actually reflects you, not some generic avatar.

What I’m up to

MVP v0.1 Launched

I shipped the very first build of Glialis—step tracking, basic nutrition lookup, and a working MDP under the hood. It’s rough, but it runs.

100+ Coffee-Fuelled Commits

Over a hundred code commits (and who knows how many ☕️) poured into late-night sprints to squash bugs and tweak features.

Looking for Testers

Zero external users so far—if you’re up for trying buggy code and sharing brutally honest feedback, you’ll be my hero. 😄
